BETTY'S FUNNY FARM
David J. Coleman
A full-time potter and artist for over 20 years, David J. Coleman
creates high quality, functional pottery and one-of-a-kind artworks.
At his studio in the southern Adirondacks, his works are inspired by
the landscapes and animals of the Adirondack mountains.

All through David's youth, he loved art and working with his hands.
While studying art at SUNY Potsdam, he discovered pottery and loved
it. David graduated from Potsdam in 1979 with a BFA and majors in
painting and pottery.

David has been refining and expanding his skills with clay for 20 years.
His pottery is remarkably light, yet durable and totally functional, as
well as finely crafted and aesthetically pleasing. From his
hand-painted, beautiful, natural scenes to the flowing-glaze designs
that he uses on his stoneware, his pottery is unique and coveted by
those who know and purchase his work time and time again.

David also loves to design and produce unique clay sculptures and garden
decorations. These whimsical items not only look great in the garden
but are one-of-a-kind creations that are a joy to own. David's
ceramic sculptures and garden decorations are highly prized by those
who have been fortunate enough to own some of these specialty items.
